What's Next

Zenika, software engineering company specialized in Java / JEE technologies, announces a new event in the IT community: What’s Next conference, an event bringing together on 26 and May 27 at the Grand rex in Paris, the biggest names in the Java world.

During these two days, a series of exclusive conferences : They will discuss strategic issues and high value-added advanced Java topics such as Orion, Clojure, Spring, Jenkins (Hudson), NoSQL, scalability and high availability Internet architectures…

On the occasion of this first edition, the speakers will speak about their specialties focused on the near future. The list of first ones is already available on the website of the event whatsnextparis.com. Note the exclusive participation of stakeholders such as Shay Banon, Boris Bokowski, Jonas Boner, Adrian Colyer, Rob Harrop, etc. The page of speakers will be expanded every week.

In total, between 500 and 1,000 participants are expected from 26 to 27 May. Pierre Queinnec, technical director at Zenika: “By hosting the What’s Next, we wanted to create an event focused on the Java / JVM ecosystem  in France, where speakers, from around the world, would all be recognized experts in their field. Many of the speakers come for the first time in France and we are proud to offer the French community the possibility to attend this conference. The What’s Next will also address the very strategic issue of the future of Java. These are questions that arise every day enthusiasts, but also those who are faced with technology choices. For this reason, each speaker was invited to share his own vision of the future of Java and its ecosystem. ”

For the sake of accessibility, Zenika wished to lower the cost of registration for this event. Entrance fees are to be 150 euros for 1 day and 250 euros for two days. This amount may be charged to training budgets of businesses and thus not be a burden to them. He is also eligible for DIF (In France).
